Peter Rushton – Long Time Searchlight Agent at Work in the EFP

The deputy editor of the EFP’s journal, Heritage and Destiny, is Peter Rushton. This middle-aged (late 40s), unmarried man, who has repeatedly posted pro-homosexual comments on Gay discussion groups on the Usenet, has long since been exposed as a Searchlight agent, and has been expelled from virtually every party that he has tried to infiltrate – except the EFP and the WNP/BPP.

Rushton is, in his own writings, a self-confessed Marxist who was trapped and exposed as working for Searchlight Magazine by Combat 18 in the early 1990s, when Tyndall was leader of the BNP. See the book White Riot: The Violent Story of Combat 18 for details of how Rushton was assaulted by C18 members as a result.

Despite this, and other repeated exposures, many through his own pen on the Usenet, Rushton pretended to be a loyal Nick Griffin supporter until his final exposure and expulsion from that party.

Rushton:  From Nick Griffin

moderate BNP supporter....

. . . to "hardline "Nazi" -- the

many faces of a Searchlight spy.

Expelled from the BNP, Rushton received his new orders from Gerry Gable: pose as a “Nazi hardliner”, join the new White Nationalist Party, and support John Tyndall’s attacks on the new BNP leadership – all with the obvious aim of trying to create as much division in Nationalist ranks as possible.

For a full expose of Rushton in his own words on the Usenet, go here.

In 2003, the BNP first published a booklet explaining to its supporters why it had proscribed Rushton from party activities (not as a member - Rushton had deviously been active for over a decade and only ever paid membership dues once - in 1995). The booklet: Peter Rushton: The Case for Proscription was widely circulated, and is now online here.
